... Kunstenaar Arjen Boerstra (33) heeft zijn ballonhuis bijna af. De houten muren staan al en hij is nu bezig met het dak. In het huis komt een met helium gevulde, doorzichtige zeppelin te hangen, die tegen het dak aan zweeft. Op bepaalde tijden klapt het dak open en gaat de zeppelin aan een touw de lucht in. Daar begint het fototoestel, dat onderaan de zeppelin is bevestigd, foto's te schieten vanuit de lucht. "Het is een experiment," legt Boerstra uit. "Of het echt gaat lukken, moeten we afwachten. Bijna alles hier in de buurt zit in de weg: bomen, huizen. Voor je het weet ligt de zeppelin bij de buren op het dak." Maar het praktische gedeelte is niet het belangrijkste, zegt hij. "Het gaat erom dat je de illusie hebt dat het kán gebeuren." ...

... Artist Arjen Boerstra (33) has almost finished his balloonhouse.The wooden walls are ready and now he's busy making the roof. Inside the house he will put a transparent zeppelin filled with helium, floating against the roof. At times the roof will open letting the zeppelin rise up into the air. A camera hanging underneath the zeppelin will start taking pictures or make video's. "It's an experiment", Boerstra explains. "Whether it really will succeed, we'll see. Almost everything is in the way: trees, houses. If you don't pay attention the zeppelin will hit the neigbours roof. "But the practical part is not the most important", he says. "You've got to get the illusion that it could happen." ...
